New in 2008, a luxury contemporary styled barn conversion.
Serafina Cottage is a most attractive 19th Century character cottage adjoining a Grade II listed barn, dating back to the 17th Century. The cottage has been recently sympathetically converted to provide lovely self catering family holiday accommodation.
The ground floor is an inviting open plan space complemented by a wealth of original beams. The character of this conversion makes a splendid setting for the 21st century fittings and furnishings. Under-floor heating warms the lounge/dining area and kitchen. The lounge has sumptuous leather sofas, a 32” widescreen television with Freeview channels and a DVD player. The modern fitted kitchen is fully equipped with fan oven, ceramic hob, microwave with grill, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
The first floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom, all with under-floor heating. The first bedroom, with attractive sloping ceiling and exposed timbers, contains a double bed, dressing table and wardrobe whilst the second bedroom has twin beds and large wardrobe. The beautiful bathroom with high quality fittings and complimentary L'Occitane toiletries makes the perfect place for a quick shower before the day’s activities or a relaxing soak at the end of them.
The owners have a young family and fully appreciate the luxury of a short break with young children and can provide cot beds and booster seats.
Wireless broadband can also be provided.
There is a lawned garden to the front and a gravelled courtyard to the rear with table and chairs and a BBQ.
Serafina Cottage is located in the quiet rural hamlet of Brierley, just outside Leominster in Herefordshire. Leominster has shops, pubs, restaurants and banks. A short drive away lay the famous Black and White villages including Weobley.
Brierley is central for both the Cathedral city of Hereford with its Mappa Mundi Exhibition and Ludlow – the renowned 'foodie' haven – just 15 minutes away. There are some excellent pubs and restaurants in the surrounding areas.
The area is steeped in history and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Nearby are the book town of Hay-on-Wye, Ledbury, the Malvern Hills, local Cider producers, golf courses, several National Trust Properties, Horse racing courses and Offas Dyke to name but a few of the things to see and do during your stay.
