This spacious house used to be a cooperage. Although it has a modern interior some of its original walls were kept. There is a luxury kitchen with breakfast bar and high stools, gas hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine,tumbledryer, dishwasher and microwave oven. It has four double bedrooms, all with ample storage and king size beds.The main bathroom has a whirlpool bath with overhead shower. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite shower/toilet. Downstairs there is a cloakroom. The living /dining room has sky television, mini hi fi system, dvd player and the dining table seats eight people.This is a no smoking property. Books and games will be provided for children and if requested a high chair/cot will be provided.Bed linen (except for childs cot)towels and heating are included in the cost.The house is only yards away from the coastal path and quaint harbour.There are numerous well known eating places in the area. A grocery shop and post office are only yards away. St.Monans is only a twenty minute drive from St.Andrews "The Home of Golf" and there are also some good golf courses nearby e.g. Lundin Links, Elie, Crail and Kingsbarns. There is a small courtyard at the front of the house with room for one car and also there is a small public car park adjacent to the property.There are many small fishing villages along the East Fife Coast to explore and one of the best blue flag beaches is found in the neighbouring town of Elie only two miles along the coast. Pittenweem, famous for its locally caught prawns is only a mile along the coast.Scotlands Secret Bunker is only a six mile drive away and The Scottish Fisheries Museum is found in Anstruther which also has daily boat trips to the May Island.
