Situated a two minute walk from the Long Sands beach at Tynemouth, our self catering cottage is a great base for beach lovers. And the centre of Tynemouth village, with its restaurants, shops and bars is only a ten minute walk away along the sea front, past Tynemouth Castle and Priory. Located behind the Grand Hotel, the cottage is in the original stable-block for the hotel which was built in 1872 as a home for the Duchess of Northumberland. The two bedroom cottage is built over two floors and has a double bedroom, living room and small kitchen on the ground floor and a twin bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. Pets are welcome in the cottage.
