Beanacre Barn is stuated high in the beautiful Mendip Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB, in Somerset. On the edge of a village with views over the rolling hills, holiday barn dates back to the 16th century and was originally part of Church Farm.

Graded 4 Star by VisitBritain.com and enjoyEngland.com (English Tourist Board). It has been lovingly converted, beautifully furnished and equipped by the owners. Many traditional features have been incorporated such as exposed beams, oak framed wall and old pine and flagstone floors. The accommodation is on one level with easy walking access.

The cottage has been designed to sleep two guests but also offers a high quality sofa-bed in the sitting room which can accommodate a further two guests or visitors.

This unusually spacious holiday accommodation combines modern comforts and facilities with traditional style to ensure your stay is relaxing and memorable.

Positioned in a beautiful walled cottage garden, which is exclusively for your use, the south facing patio is the perfect place to relax or enjoy eating alfresco whilst taking in the lovely views and watching the wildlife.

This is the ideal country retreat to get away from the pressures of every day life and explore this beautiful corner of the West Country of England. Bath and Bristol are only thirteen miles away and the ancient cathedral city of Wells is just five miles, with its interesting shops and good selection of restaurants.

Facilities include 'Freeview' Television, DVD player, HiFi and WiFi Internet access (no charge).

Village pub with bar food and local ale & cider, 500 metres. Excellent restaurants and inns within 2 miles.

Beanacre Barn -
Bedroom - This bright bedroom has a TV and radio. There is ample storage and hanging space.
Dining Area - The spacious dining area has a large pine table with seating for four. An extensive set of quality crockery, cutlery and glassware is provided.
Garden - This beautiful walled cottage garden is a particular feature of the Beanacre Barn. It is for your exclusive enjoyment during your stay
Garden from patio - The south-facing patio provides a secluded corner in which to relax and enjoy the garden.
Kitchen - A modern traditionally styled kitchen, equipped to an extremely high standard to help make even this aspect of your holiday a pleasure! Facilities include a ceramic hob and fan oven, microwave, dishwasher, large upright fridge/freezer and washing machine. Use of a tumble dryer is available on request.
Shower Room - This room features a luxuriously spacious shower area with power shower, complemented by a washbasin, toilet and bidet.
Sitting Room - With double doors which open on to the secluded patio, this delightful room is bright, cool and airy in summer. At the other end of the year however it can provide a cosy place to curl up and relax in front of the roaring log fire. It is fully equipped with a 'freeview' television, DVD player, video player and a music centre with radio, tape and CD. The “Relyon” sofa bed (with sprung mattress) provides an additional double bed if required. The lighting may be dimmed to suit your mood.
