Lovely cosy cottage with 3 bedrooms, a double with a double bed,large wardrobe, dressing table, bedside table and bedside lights, a room with bunk bed and fitted wardrobe and a room with one single bed and wardrobe. Large lounge - sitting area with colour TV, comfortable seating, bookcase with books, drawers with games, jigsaws and cards, - dining area with gateleg pine table and seating for 5 people. Fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, - breakfast area. There is room for parking one car at the back of the property with access from the side road. Up to 2 doags are welcome but there is a supplementary charge of £25 per dog per week. The cottage is located in the centre of Flookburgh village, just across the road from the post office and only a minutes walk from the village general store, chemist, fish and chip shop butchers and 2 pubs. About 5 minutes walk away is Cark railway staion with trains to Ulverson, Barrow and along the West cost of Cumbria as far as Carlsile. The other way trains run to Arnside, Silverdale and Lancaster. The cottage is let out on a weekly basis with change over day being Saturday, but we are flexible over the winter months and can offer short breaks of 2 - 5 days at a cost of £50.00 per night. Please contact us for further details. Whatever the season, there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Flookburgh is only a short drive away from the southern tip of Lake Windermere and is an ideal base for exploring the southern Lake District. Nearby attractions include: Grange over Sands- pretty victorian coastal town, just a 10 minutes drive away, with shops, banks, lovely gardens and walks.
