With dramatic hills and sandy beaches, rolling pastureland and ancient woodlands, Pembrokeshire has much to offer.
Close to the Preseli Mountains famed for providing some twenty Bluestones in the making of Stonehenge. The area abounds in many ancient sites of its own, including the Pentre lfan Burial Chamber and Castell Henllys, a reconstructed Iron Age fort.
The nearby coastal town of Newport, with its mile long beach should be top of an itinery, boasting a fine Norman church and castle, a variety of shops and excellent pubs and restaurants.
