There are excellent bus and train services throughout the North Wales coastal area and the Conwy Valley, with access also to the Snowdonia mountain ranges. The railway station, which is on an inter-city line (Holyhead to London Euston), is only a few minutes walk away and the stop for local buses is within 50 metres of the cottage.. The National Express Coach company also serves Conwy.  The upper floor of the cottage has, from the front, views over the town, and from the rear the wooded hillsides and mountains of the lower reaches of the Conwy Valley.
