Plasse Farm Holiday cottages are located in the pretty rural hamlet of Cwm. The nearby village of Dyserth is just a few minutes drive away and has all the convenient shopping you might need, including pubs serving meals. The seaside resort of Prestatyn is 10-15 minutes away and the Victorian resort of Llandudno and the Roman city of Chester, with their many attractions for all ages are both within a 25 minute drive away. No longer a working farm, Plasse Farm Cottages boasts unique charm and character with modern comfortable facilities. These delightful cottages sleep between 4 and 8 people and are furnished to a high standard. Swallow cottage is a charming single storey Welsh Long Cottage and has one double bedroom, two single bedrooms and shower. It has a large comfortable lounge, and a fully- fitted farmhouse kitchen. It has a spacious garden with safe enclosed play area and picturesque views offering an ideal location for alfresco dining. Wren cottage is a delightful detached 17th Century barn conversion comprising of two spacious double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and shower. It has a large comfortable lounge and a fully-fitted farmhouse kitchen where you can enjoy your family meals. Set in its own private garden there is plenty of space to relax with spacious, safe areas for children. Dove cottage offers ideal accommodation for three generations. There are two spacious double bedrooms, one large bedroom with three single beds, and a single bedroom and shower. It has a farmhouse kitchen /diner and a large comfortable lounge. From the lounge you have easy access to a spacious garden and area for outdoor relaxation. This cottage has its own private courtyard with ample parking. All cottages are supplied with bed linen and have full central heating. They all have a tv and DVD player and ample parking. The kitchens are fully equipped with electric oven, microwave oven and fridgefreezer. Ironing board, high chair and cots are also supplied. There is a separate laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer for your use at no extra cost. Barbeques are also supplied in each garden for outside dining! The cottages are ideally situated and the nearby attractions offer something for everyone. The stunning scenery of the North Wales coastline, its long sandy beaches, cliff top walks and promenades are all within easy reach. For country lovers the cottages are surrounded by easy walks on pretty lanes including the Offas Dyke paths. There are many wonderful walks for all levels including the Clwydian hills and Snowdonia National Park. There are also many country parks and local nature reserves to visit, such as the nearby Gronant and Talacre dunes Site of Special Scientific Interest and the RSPB reserve in Conwy. A visit to Conwy and Caernarfon castle is a must for those interested in history, as are the historic market towns of Rhuthin and Denbigh. A 25 minute drive away is the medieval walled city of Chester where you can take in its ancient history, enjoy a boat trip on the river or just browse the many shops and bars. Nestled within the beautiful Dee Valley, Llangollen is a 40 minute drive away. This ancient market town is situated on the banks of the River Dee and plays host to the famous international music Eisteddfod. For outdoor activites, the adventurous visitor can enjoy canoeing,white-water rafting,gorgewalking rock climbing and even potholing! But a visit wouldn't be complete without a canal boat trip along the wharf pulled by a heavy horse, or a leisurely trip on a steam train along the banks of the River Dee. For more local activities, there are golf courses in Rhyl, Prestatyn, Rhuddlan, Meliden and Caerwys. A driving range is also nearby. The Welsh Mountain Zoo is a short drive away in Colwyn Bay and Chester Zoo is a 25 minute drive. There are several nearby theatres with performances for all tastes. A multi-screen cinema, arcade games and ten pin bowling are all just a 15 minute drive away.
