Mu's Cottage was built in 1896 and was originally the gardener's cottage. It is situated in grounds of The Old Vicarage just outside the village of Evenjobb in the beautiful Radnorshire countryside. In recent times it has been completely restored and extended. Evenjobb is within easy reach of many places of interest - the old Radnorshire town of Presteigne, the market town of Ludlow with its excellent restaurants and antique shops, the Victorian town of Llandrindod Wells and Hay on Wye famous for its annual Literary Festival and numerous book shops. Follow the famous Herefordshire Black and White village trail, walk Offa's Dyke or explore the Brecon Beacons. The choices are limitless. The cottage itself has a large sitting/dining room facing onto pastureland leading up to Offa's Dyke. The kitchen is fully-fitted with microwave, washer/drier, fridge/freezer etc. There are two bathrooms and three bedrooms - one double, one twin and one with full size bunk beds. The cottage is furnished and equipped to a very high standard with heating, linen and towels provided. A cot and highchair are available upon request. Whether you are looking for an active holiday or total relaxation, you will find it here. You can walk, cycle, horse ride, sightsee or simply curl up with a book and unwind!
