Pitt House is a 16th Century Farmhouse with adjoining cottage and is set in 2 ½ acres of gardens and grounds, where great consideration has been given to nature and the past.
Each property is entirely self contained and is a home for your stay. Linen and towels are provided, as are B-B-Q’s and ample garden furniture.
Pitt House
Stepping into the property you are greeted by a large open fireplace, in a spacious part-panelled dining room with oak beams’, antiques and hand crafted furnishings.
A beamed archway leads to a fully equipped working kitchen, with its old range, fridge, microwave and conventional oven combines the best of the old with the convenient of the new.
The cosy sitting room is also open fired, panelled and with oak beams offer sheer comfort and is supplied with colour television, video and stereo/C.D player. Still on the ground floor there is a shower/cloakroom with washer/dryer.
Upstairs are a bathroom, two double-bedded rooms and one with twin singles, all of which have pine ceilings and are very well furnished.
Pitt Cottage
The dining room welcomes you and has antique sideboard and dining table. The fitted kitchen with its quarry-tiled floor has conventional oven and microwave as well as a washer/dryer.
The curtained archway leads to a cosy lounge with view onto garden. Equipped with colour television, video and stereo/C.D player. A granite fireplace houses a wood burning stove and a part panelled wall conceals door to stairway. Upstairs is 1 double bedroom and 1 with twin singles. Across the landing is a good-sized light attractive bathroom.
