APARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Each apartment is decorated in its own unique style. All bedrooms have comfortable beds with linen and towels provided. Bathrooms are private and fitted with a powerful shower and bath. Our fully fitted kitchens give you the chance to be your own chef and include utensils, toaster, oven, microwave and washing machine. A welcome pack is also provided on arrival consisting of cereal, milk, tea and coffee. Castle apartments all have a comfortable lounge with TV and DVD player. Many apartments have additional futon beds for extra guests. Business Facilities - Some properties have complimentary WIFI while Internet, telephone, fax and safe are all available at our central office. These services may incur additional charges.

Run on a hotel basis with a minimum of one nights stay, Castle Apartments offer a real alternative to a hotel. For the same price as a hotel room we offer 3 and 4 Star accommodation that gives you the freedom and flexibility of your own apartment in the centre of Edinburghs old town.

Our Concierge Team are on hand to ensure you get the most out of your stay. We can book you onto tours of Scotland, book concert and theatre tickets, organise car hire, as well as giving some local insight of where to go and what to do. Late Check-outs
Late checkouts can be arranged prior to arrival or with the concierge at check-in. There is a fee for this service. The latest check-out time is 1400 hrs.

POLICIES AND IMPORTANT NOTICES
All our apartments are strictly NON-SMOKING
Due to central location there can be noise.
Our apartments are located in historical buildings and there is no lift. Due to the layout of the city, guests may be required to climb a number of steps to reach their accommodation.
We do not offer parking. Guests can park at one of the near by NCP car parks, which offer secure parking. Daily charges do apply.
Apartments will be serviced and fresh linen and towels provided once a week. Additional servicing can be arranged at extra cost.
There is no charge for children under 12 years old, when accompanied by 2 Adults. Maximum 2 children per family.

Cancellations and alterations. If you need to cancel or change your accommodation and provide Scottishapartment.com with 28 days notice. All cancellations need to be received by Scottishapartment.com in writing either by e-mail or fax and will only be effective on the date of written receipt. Scottishapartment.com advises guests to obtain personal travel insurance covering their accommodation.
The following fees will be applied to the total value of the reservation for any cancellations received within 28 days of the arrival date:
28 Days = 10% Cancellation Fee
14 Days = 25% Cancellation Fee
7 Days = 50% Cancellation Fee
48 Hours = 75% Cancellation Fee
Refunds are credited to the card/method used for payment.
Alteration fee all alterations will incur a £10.00 Admin fee.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT PROCEDURE
Check-in
Check-in and key collection is from 15:00 onwards from our head office located at:
6 Queen Street, New Town, Edinburgh, EH2 1JE.
Please note that this is only the location of our office and that you will be supplied with the directions and keys to your apartment.
Check-out
Self check-out: Self check-out is standard in our apartments so you do not need to return to our central reservations office on the day of check-out. (Credit card details must be provided to secure this facility).
DIRECTIONS
From Edinburgh Airport to Queen Street
Driving
Exit Edinburgh Airport on to East Field Road follow signs for the City Centre/Edinburgh Zoo. Go through Eastfield Road and turn left onto the A8.
Enter Edinburgh on Glasgow Road (A8). Go through the Drumbrae Roundabout and onto Saint John's Road (A8). This will become Corstorphine Road (A8).
Turn right on the Roseburn Terrace (A8). Carry onto West Coates, which becomes Haymarket Terrace (A8). Turn left into Haymarket (A8) and carry on West Maitland Street. This becomes Shandwick Place (A8) which becomes Princes Street.
Turn left onto South Charlotte Street (A90) which becomes Charlotte Square and then North Charlotte Street.
Turn right onto Albyn Place, and turn left into Queen Street. We are at number 6 Queen Street (opposite end) on the right hand side, next to the Jam House.

Airlink Bus no. 100 5 GBP (return)
The Airport bus departs every 15 minutes. Guests must disembark at the Waverly Bridge terminus (opposite Waverly Station). Reception and key collection is approx. 7 -10 minute walk from here.
