Polly’s Cottage Polly’s Cottage is a quirky rambling stone farm cottage on the edge of a tiny hamlet perched in the verdant hills above Bath. You will be absolutely in the heart of the gorgeous English countryside, but only 10 minutes from Bath! Features include stone fireplaces, wood beams, panoramic views, two sitting rooms, a large kitchen (which used to be a barn) with a table that sits 8 quite comfortably and some eccentrically decorated bedrooms. When the weather is just right at dawn or dusk you can see hoards of hot air balloons flying overhead having just taken off from Royal Victoria Park, 5 miles down the road. This unique home can either be a romantic hideaway or family get-away. Church bells, weddings and funerals, community notices, trotting horses past the window, hikers in the fields, farm animals and wild can all be found here. The magic of it is though, that 'here' is both in the middle of nowhere and in the centre of everything! Polly’s Cottage sleeps 4 comfortably, with three bedrooms, but more can be catered for depending on your requirements. Rates vary for the time of year and length of stay. There is a 5 day minimum stay at £125 per night or £700 per week. Discounts available at the agents discretion for artists and musicians performing in the area.
