Mint Cottage is the ideal base from where to discover the beautiful countryside of Dumfries & Galloway. There is SO much to do and see in this wonderful area. Kirkcudbright - known as the Artists Town - is steeped in history and Mint Cottage was once occupied by artists in the early 1900's. The cottage is very cosy and well equipped with all that is required for a comfortable holiday. The dining/kitchen has a washing machine, microwave as well as the usual kitchen items. The lounge has an electric fire (although the cottage has central heating) and aswell as a T.V also has a DVD player. Upstairs takes you to a double bedroom, a single bedroom with a pullout guest bed and a shower room. The town Kirkcudbright has so much to offer from art galleries, museums, a wildlife park, shops, restaurants, tennis courts, swimming pool, bowling green, marina, harbour, golf club and many activities.
