| Cobwebs, Dittisham - A cosy cottage for two. Built of stone and cob with a slate roof, Cobwebs is a delightfully comfortable and cosy holiday home. With white-washed walls, pine and glass cupboards, pretty furniture and exposed rafters, the cottage is really charming and full of character. It is situated in Lower Street, Dittisham one of the oldest roads in the village, which leads between some very pretty flower covered thatched cottages down to Dittisham Mill Creek.
Small hall. Shower room with WC, hand basin and washing machine. Lovely double bedroom with beams, window seat, fitted wardrobe, nooks and crannies, kidney shaped dressing table and pine bed. Upstairs to open sitting room with exposed roof timbers and stone fireplace with electric stove fire, TV with freeview, video and DVD, CD/radio. Lower House West, East Prawle - Children and Dogs Welcome Lower House West is a light and spacious semi-detached Georgian farmhouse in the coastal village of East Prawle, ideal for families and walkers. All three bedrooms have views across the fields to the sea. The house has a private right of way down a track leading to Horsley beach and this beautiful stretch of the South West Coastal footpath. The beach is a safe spot for swimming and has sand and rockpools at low tide. A short drive away are beaches at Mill Bay, Lannacombe, Slapton and Beesands and you are within easy reach of Kingsbidge, Salcombe and Dartmouth. The village has two pubs and a village store. Loworthy Cottage, Slapton - Sleeps 2 + 2 and small child/baby Loworthy Cottage nestles in the beautiful South Hams countryside a mile from Slapton Village with 2 two good pubs, both well known for good food and a village shop. A little further on is the vast expanse of Slapton Sands, Slapton Ley Nature Reserve and the beachside village of Torcross, with a good pub well renowned for fresh fish, a couple of cafes and village shop and butchers . The towns of Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Totnes are easily accessible by car. This well furnished, extremely characteristic cottage is a self contained wing of the main farmhouse with lovely rural views, with glimpses of the sea beyond. Pridhams is a lovely barn conversion on what was once a small farm in the centre of the village of Cornworthy. The 17th century barn was not so long ago home to the owners pedigree dairy goats and has now been restored, keeping original features such as the ancient oak beams. Full of charm and character, Pridhams is light, spacious and very well equipped for four guests. A delightful terraced garden where olives, figs and palms flourish is for your own private use. Hardwood garden furniture, a purpose built barbeque area and chiminea complete this stunning outdoor space. The village of Cornworthy lies in the picturesque Dart Valley between Totnes and Dartmouth, there are lovely walks locally and along a beautiful stretch of the river Dart. The 18th century Hunters Lodge Inn is well known locally for its good food, is only a minute or two's stroll from Pridhams. On arrival you will be greeted with a generous welcome pack, including homemade scones and cream, and the fridge stocked for you first mornings breakfast. The Cottage, Dartmouth - This pretty 150 year old newly refurbished holdiay cottage is situated in the very heart of Dartmouth, near the bottom of Browns Hill. The Cottage is a two-minute walk from the River Dart, excellent shops, restaurants and parking. Close by is, the New Angel Restaurant run by TV chef John Burton Race and next door the famous seafood chef Mitch Tonks. Also nearby are lots of charming pubs including The Cherub Inn dating back to 1380. Amongst the excellent local shops is a new M&S. If you are looking for a self catering holiday with no driving but includes good food, drinking and river walks then this is the cottage for you. The Garden Apartment, Stoke Fleming - This secluded ground floor apartment is most comfortably furnished, adjacent to the owners private house, nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of the village. There is one bedroom with garden views, and a private mature garden for your own use with garden furniture under the gazebo. Stoke Fleming is just 2 miles from Dartmouth and 1 mile to the award winning Blackpool Sands. The South West Coastal footpath runs through the village, ideal for walkers with terrific views over Start Bay. Stoke Fleming has a village post office stores and a good pub and restaurant for lunches and evening meals.
