Nearby working windmill - The windmill at Llynnon, Anglesey, was built in 1775 at a cost of £500. The only working windmill on the Isle of Anglesey, which once had over 100 mills to grind its large grain havest, it was renovated by Anglesey Borough Council and re-opened in 1986. Moelfre - Moelfre looks like every childs idea of a seaside village - picturesque port, beach, fine views of snowdonia, a working lifeboat and tales of piracy and disaster at sea. The village also provides an excellent vantage point to view both ocean going and coastal vessels sailing to and from the Mersey. In adverse weather many ships seek shelter in the bay illuminating the night skyline.
Cemaes Bay - Cemaes is the most northerly village in Wales. Since Victorian times, the picturesque character of Cemaes and the natural beauty of the Island has attracted many artists.
