Beautiful old charentaise house which has been recently modernised. There are stone walls, tiled floors, exposed beams and lovely fireplaces. 3 of the bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms and there is a downstairs bathroom with shower. The kitchen is fully equipped. Outside there is a dining area and a 10 x 5 metre swimming pool. We are situated in a tranquil situation between Saintes,15 mins drive, Pons & Cognac, 20 mins away, and a 10 minute walk to the charente river, fishing permits can be purchased nearby. The nearest shop is 2 kms away and Chaniers, five minutes drive away, has all facilities.
