Lone Barn (originally Lone Barn Farm) centres around a courtyard which includes the main house, the 18th Century barn and the cottage, nestled in the valley just off the South Downs beneath Broadhalfpenny down – the home of English cricket. The owners, Paul and Melanie Flint offer both Country Bed & Breakfast and self catering in Courtyard Cottage.The cottage is set within the courtyard of Lone Barn. The cottage is excellently equipped and furnished to a very high standard and has full central heating. The sitting/dining room with its large vaulted and beamed ceiling gives very spacious living accommodation with a warming woodburner for those chillier days. The large hallway has french doors opening out onto the courtyard for some summer sunshine and where meals/barbeques can be enjoyed on the terrace.
