Ferniehaugh is a beautiful 1500 acre estate situated at the southern end of the Pentland hills. It is ideally situated for visits to Edinburgh (22 miles), Peebles (11 miles), Biggar (8miles) and Lanark. Activities include walks on the estate and in the surrounding countryside; pony trekking nearby; golf at West Linton (3 miles) ; fishing for small trout on our pond; or bring your horse and enjoy riding in lovely hacking country. The Steading cottage has recently been refurbished to a high standard with modern kitchen, spacious lounge with open fire(logs provided) and satellite TV, a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a small twin bedded room and a shower/utility room.
