...in fact all the apartments have spectacular sea views! Astor House is an imposing Victorian villa built around 1840 when Torbay was a major naval port. The main apartment rooms, exemplified in flats 3 & 4, are very grand with high ceilings, detailed coving and large bay windows affording excellent views across the bay. These rooms form the main central part of the building. On either side are room are more cottage-like in style and share the same spectacular views. All the apartments have a colour TV, microwave, central heating and indeed everything needed for a comfortable stay. Astor House apartments are located in a prominent position in the heart of Torquay just above the beach with the Princess Theatre just below Rock Walk and the town centre a short walk past the marina.
