Bloomvale is a Scottish Country House with 3/4-acre garden and no immediate neighbours, ideal for leaving the real world behind and indulging yourself a little.
Built in 1778 as a watermill, it was converted into a family home in 1897 and has remained pretty much unchanged since. The rooms have not been altered for the holiday trade and one of the most noticeable features about the house is its size.
There are 4 bedrooms, 1 king-sized, 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single sleeping 7 in comfort.(a cot is also available) All bedding and linen is included in the price, as is Gas, Electric and logs and coal for the fire in the lounge, although there is full gas central heating.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything a cook might need, including an 8-ring range style cooker, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and all the crockery and utensils needed for a veritable feast. The dining room has a balcony with steps down into the mature garden and it’s a great place to sit with a beer or gin and tonic, watching the Sea Trout jumping in the river, it really is idyllic.
There is also plenty to keep children busy and happy with a Tree House, swings and lots to explore. A washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the large cellar. Bloomvale is available for long or short bookings as a holiday home. Prices are available on request and are inclusive, with no hidden extras; all you will need is food and drink.
