St Herbert's Cottage is a superb base for fell walking and exploring the whole Lake District, with a wide range of shops, pubs and places to eat close by. The Cottage is superbly equipped and decorated, situated in a quiet residential area, and only a few minutes walk from the centre of Keswick. Rooms are spacious and furnished to a high standard. There is ample on street parking and the cottage also benefits from a secure single garage to the rear. Visit Britain (formerly English Tourist Council) described as "Well maintained with good levels of cleanliness... a very good standard of holiday accommodation." (July 2005) Changeover day is Friday.
