A charming Westmorland stone cottage nestles peacefully in the sheltered Lyth valley, famous for its spring show of damson blossom. The cottage enjoys breathtaking views across lush pastureland to the distant Langdales and familiar Lakeland Fells beyond. Attached to the owner's guest house residence, the cottage is newly renovated to a high standard with a courtyard garden and french windows opening from the living area to a westerly facing sunny patio and lawn and pergola. The cottage for two, consists of a large open plan lounge/dining area with a kitchen area set off. A separate large double bedroom and shower/toilet room. Facilities: Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle toaster, colour TV, radio, etc. Bed linen towels and heating included. there is an electric meter which takes £1 coins for lighting and cooking. Private parking. Strictly no smoking. Whilst the cottage is fully equipped for self-catering, there are many excellent eateries within a very short distance of the village, which the owners would be only to pleased to point out and advise you as to their particular specialities.
