The setting also has the added bonus of its proximity to the north eastern coast and the lively resorts of Scarborough, Bridlington, Whitby and Filey. It is ideal for exploring the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline, discovering the quiet sandy beaches, or taking long relaxing walks on the Farm or surrounding areas viewing the local wildlife. The location is ideal for walking, cycling and touring. Our recently converted Humble Bee Cottage is new for 2006 has a picturesque setting with its own patio and seating area. The cottage is situated on our working arable farm and boasts a quiet location with breath taking views. The cottage itself is available to rent all year round. Humble Bee Cottage was originally a grainary dating back to the 1800's, and was used for storing all the corn gathered in the threshing on Humble Bee Farm. The grainary has been redundant for the last 50 years and has now been converted into a luxury holiday cottage retaining many original features, which include the original grainary steps, beams and overlooks the farms duck pond. Great care and attention has been taken to ensure the facilities provided are to the highest standard and provides the following:- Oil central heating Downstairs cloakroom Open plan kitchen, dining area, lounge The kitchen includes a microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine/ tumble dryer The lounge has both a 2 and 3 seater leather sofa, TV, DVD, Video, free view, radio, cd and extensive library. Oak beamed fireplace with wood burning stove, wood will be provided 2 car parkign spaces are available There is a BBQ available if anyone needs it - Just ask! Luxury master bedroom with ensuite facilities includes a seperate bath/shower. There is also a twin bedroom, which is also ensuite. Both rooms are decorated to a high standard.
