A romantic retreat for all seasons, the Old Carthouse is ideal for those wanting either an active walking holiday, or a totally relaxing beach holiday. Its picture-windows overlook the courtyard in the front, and the main entrance is approached through the garden gate which opens onto a small private, south-facing, terraced garden at the back. Accommodation: The Old Carthouse offers: single-storey, well-appointed accommodation on the ground floor. The hallway, where there is space to hang coats and store boots etc., leads into a well-equipped kitchen/dining/sitting room, with a separate double bedroom and ensuite bathroom with WC, wash basin and bath with shower over. The price includes electricity and heating costs. A small box of local groceries is provided for visitors on arrival, courtesy of the owners, David and Caro. Times of arrival: Saturday, 4pm, with departure, Saturday, 10am. (N.B. If visitors want to arrive on Friday evening, they can always book a room for bed and breakfast in Trezelah Farmhouse before moving into the Old Carthouse the following day!)
