Cartmel - A view from the racecourse.Lovely walks from here, which you can round off with a visit to the Priory, one of the 4 village pubs (all of which serve excellent food), 2 restaurants (+1 cafe) or go shopping! Front terrace view - The south facing slate terrace has lovely views south and west. It is kept private by 3 m high stone walls to the east and north and by hedging and being raised above the areas to its south and west. kitchen - Pine units, fully equipped with plenty of work space, built in oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle etc Living area - The living area is open to the roof and open plan to the kitchen and dining areas. It is an exceptionally light room with views to the south over the slate terrace and past the monkey puzzle trees of Aynsome Manor Hotel towards Cartmel, and to the west to the Cartmel valley, Greenbank and the hills beyond. Living area from kitchen - The living area opens onto the slate terrace to the south and a patio to the west. Master bedroom - Very private, with views west through oriel window and 3 m high stone wall to north. Very comfortable pocket sprung king size double bed. Plenty of cupboard and drawer space. Ensuite shower room with WC and wb vanity unit. Stream in Aynsome Manor Park - The whole Park is a real delight! The Monks fish pond in Aynsome Manor Park - It is a pleasure just to walk around the park.. The view west to Greenbank - Hence the name of the lodge... Twin bedded room - Pocket sprung beds, with window facing 3m high stone wall, so again v private. ideal for watching the birds in the trees above the wall from bed! Views around Aynsome Manor Park - The Monks fish pond..with ducks. Views from Aynsome Manor Park - From the SW corner of the Park towards Cartmel and its beautiful Priory. There is a lovely walk over these fields to Cartmel which takes about 20mins. |
