"Thank you for your thoughtful welcome pack we will definitely be in touch when we next head up to Dumfries and Galloway!"
"We had a wonderful time in Creetown and your cottage far exceeded our expectations!Everything was there, its the best accommodation we have stayed in and we already want to book for next year."
Accommodation for 2/5 in our charming, B listed, end terraced village house in the conservation village of Creetown with on street parking at the side door. Our character cottage has a spacious open plan, living, dining room and kitchen.
The large country pine dining table seats six and the well equipped kitchen has a gas cooker, washer/dryer, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment. The lounge has two stylish and comfy leather sofas, television with ipod dock, DVD and CD players with a selection of DVD`s and board games.
There is a gas fire in the living room and gas central heating throughout. There are two good sized double bedrooms, a small single, a bathroom with shower over the bath and separate toilet. The rear garden has garden furniture and a BBQ.
Just a short stroll from the cottage, you can visit the Gemrock Museum, the village Heritage Centre, and both hotels. The home made Italian ice cream in the Village Cafe is an experience not to be missed! Best beaches are at Mossyard, Sandgreen and Carrick shore and Kirroughtree Forest Park has a fantastic childrens adventure playground, walks and mountain bike trails.
Excellent walking and cycling from your doorstep. Keep a lookout for red squirrels! Researching your Scottish roots? Advice and information from an experienced researcher.
