It can be used as versatile accomodation for many occassions while visiting the beautiful city of Bath. A family can share, Stags and Hens can chill out during their various activities or just come over for a visit to the Spa. Dining Area - With table for four or five guests Double bedroom - Is to be found on the entrance level, at the rear of the building with its own private shower room. It also boasts 2 sash windows - with original working shutters, a TV, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. There is also an opportunity to have a full size fold out bed put into this room to make it a family room. Entrance - The streets of Bath City centre are here raised 2 storeys above ground/garden level,ontop of stone vaults. Our maisonette occupies the first two storeys above garden level, and is therefore below street level, but has its own private entrance from the street via a winding wrought iron stair case, and a small courtyard at the front and rear. Hall - The stone flagged hall leads to the stairs to 'garden' level, living area, shower room and one bedroom. A section of 18th century stencilled 'wallpaper' is visible on the rhs. Kitchen - Fully equipped, hand built painted kitchen, with fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, hob & built in oven, sink, toaster, kettle etc Living area - The original kitchen range serving the (1740) house above has long gone, but the large old opening remains. The room has two sash windows looking west. The kitchen is off, through a glazed door. There is a large sleeper sofa which can accommodate an extra 2 persons if required. Lower bedroom - At 'garden' level, with a small private stone paved court that lit up at night is v special. There are 2 single beds (can be converted into a double bed), a table and 2 chairs (can be used outside in summer), a dressing table and a hanging 'cupboard'. The room is effectively en-suite with the vaulted bathroom as there are no other rooms at this level. The bedroom also has its own TV, hairdrier and tea/coffee making facilities. There is also an opportunity for an extra fold out single bed to be added to this bedroom. Upper shower room - High pressure thermostatic shower, marble vanity unit with inset basin and WC. Between the upper master bedroom and the living room. Vaulted bathroom - At the lower level, this unusual bathroom is in the original coal vault, now fully mosaic tiled with seated shower (thermostatic Grohe), bath and marble topped vanity unit. |
