|Abigail’s Cottage, situated just a few minutes from some of Devon’s best beaches, is a fun and quirky two-bedroom in Northam. As you enter the lounge you’re greeted by a delightful seaside theme, with sandstone textured walls and tiled floors. In the centre of the room sits a large marble fireplace, home to a stunning gas fire with a charming flame effect. Either side of the fireplace are two comfy armchairs, and opposite is a sofa-bed. There’s a quiet place near the back of the lounge through a small archway, ideal for reading or browsing the Internet on the Wi-Fi.
The Kitchen and Dining room is just off of the lounge. This large room features a circular pine dining table that will comfortably seat six guests, and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen contains a fridge/freezer, electric oven, gas hob and dishwasher, along with plenty of store in the handcrafted pine units. You’ll find plenty of pots and pans, crockery and cutlery already in the cottage for you to use, too.
A twin (or optional triple) room is located at the front of the cottage upstairs, and continues the beach theme with airy décor and blue hints. There is a chest of drawers with plenty of space for all your holiday clothes and a day bed sits in the opposite corner, which can be used as an optional third bed or sofa. Just outside of the bedroom is the main bathroom, with a shower, loo and sink.
The Master Bedroom, with a large double bed, is located at the back of the cottage. Featuring some quirky artwork and an enchanting antique brass frame that holds the bed itself. There’s an en-suite for the room too, with a deep roll top bath, sink and a loo.
The terrace courtyard garden is up some stone steps from the kitchen, and the south-facing courtyard is an ideal suntrap in warm months. There’s a large table with chairs too, allowing you to enjoy some great meals on the outside BBQ.
