Situated on one side of the green to the front of Sherborne Abbey the apartment arguably has one of the finest views in the whole of Sherborne and feels like a once in a lifetime experience.Although all of the rooms in the apartment are spacious they are further enhanced by the high ceilings and large sash windows. The apartment has just recently been completely refurbished throughout including new kitchen and bath/shower rooms, carpets and furniture.
The apartment is situated on the first floor with the kitchen/breakfast room, twin bedroom and living room taking in a view that has changed very little over the last three centuries.
The living room is particularly attractive with large windows to two sides, decorative mouldings and picture rails. Looking out on the Abbey and its grounds in one direction and over Sherborne School and the old cobbled thoroughfare in the other direction.
The spacious master bedroom has a brand new en-suite shower room while the second, twin bedroom makes use of a separate brand new bathroom.
At the other end of the property is the newly fitted kitchen with a dining table. Again, this room looks out over the Abbey and grounds. As with all of our properties the kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you would need or expect in a self-catering property; oven, 4-ring hob, fridge (with ice box), microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and plenty of cutlery, crockery and utensils. The apartment is heated by Gas Central heating to radiators and the hot water is on demand (included).
The apartment is located right beside Sherborne Abbey in the very centre of Sherborne. Many of the town’s amenities lie within a few minutes walking distance including a main line train station, two large supermarkets and a large selection of shops, public houses and restaurants.
Parking - The long stay car park is a few minutes walk away and for arrivals before 5.30pm on a weekday you can park a short distance away for unloading and our staff will help you carry your bags to the apartment.
