|Rose Blossom Lodge is a luxurious log cabin which nestles in an idyllic, peaceful location within the grounds of Weir Haven, a thatched Luxury Country Guest House. It is situated only 3km from the picturesque village of Clarenbridge and 1km from Kilcolgan. This beautiful 2-bedroomed lodge, with it's modern bright interiors is equipped with everything you need for the perfect relaxing break.
To help you get settled in there will be tea, coffee, milk and local organic free-range eggs waiting for you. There will also be some fresh home-baked bread and scones from Weir Haven Guest House (which uses local organic produce where possible).
Rose Blossom Lodge enjoys views across the extensive cottage gardens and it's private veranda is the perfect spot for al-fresco dining.
Locally, you can stroll to the village of Kilcolgan with its selection of shops, restaurants, pubs and Post Office. You can also visit the pretty village of Clarenbridge, famous for its annual Oyster Festival. The world-famous Moran's Oyster Cottage is only 5 mins away, and the gardens at Rose Blossom Lodge overlook the famous Weir and also Kilcolgan Castle.

Clarenbridge is a pretty village on the banks of the river Clarin. It is host to an annual Oyster Festival (which often attracts some very famous faces!), and there is also a regular market held in the walled village green. In Clarenbridge you will also find a selection of unique shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, including the famous Paddy Burke's Pub and Restaurant.
There are many wonderful scenic walks to be found just outside the gates of Rose Blossom Lodge which is built on land steeped in history, formerly part of St George's Estate dating back to the 17th century. You can explore the many country lanes and by-roads and watch the horses grazing in the fields and admire the hundreds of swans on the river.
If you fancy a round of golf, there are many Golf Courses nearby. Just a short trip away, Galway City has much to offer. There are the many festivals which the city hosts throughout the year including the Galway Races, the famous Galway Arts Festival, and it's own Galway Oyster Festival. It can also satisfy the keenest of shopping enthusiasts!!
