This comfortable, light and airy Edwardian beach house features a classically furnished first floor balcony where you can relax and watch the dramatic tide changes and glamorous sunsets over the wash. With gas central heating, full double glazing and a wood burning stove it is also very snug and warm in the winter months.
The house offers 3 comfortable bedrooms with 2 family bathrooms, a spacious lounge with reading and sitting areas with digital freeserveT.V., dvd and plenty of books and board games. The well equipped kitchen with dining table has a good range of appliances and a quality range of kitchen utensils and saucepans. The large secluded south west facing garden has a sunny patio/ barbecue area, which is ideal for outdoor meals.
There is secure off-road parking for 2/3 cars.
The sandy beach is a short walk down a country lane just opposite the house which leads to the Norfolk coastal path where the bird reserves of Holme, Titchwell and Thornham are within 1 hr walk (complete). The house is in the lovely village of Old Hunstanton, which has award winning family friendly bars and restaurants and a picture postcard duck pond and 13C church with countryside walks nearby including the peddars way. Local walking maps are available in the house along with a full range of local infomation leaflets. There is a championship links golf course running alongside the sand dunes and further watersports and sports activities available in the local town of Hunstanton just 2 miles along the coast road. The centre of Hunstanton has a bus station with good services to all major Norfolk cities and towns. Kings lynn is the nearest main-line station. |
