|Manoir de Lezuel is an English owned 15th century Breton Manor house located in the historic and beautiful Tregor area of Northern Brittany.
It is only 20 minutes drive from the stunning Rose Granite Coast and fishing harbours and just 5 mins from the pretty estuary town of Pontrieux. The ports of St Malo and Roscoff are 90 & 45 minutes drive
Le Manoir is set in 5 acres of walled grounds and is steeped in history with arched stone doorways, huge chestnut beams and towers.
All the large south facing bedrooms which are full of character overlook the courtyard. All have en-suite facilities. There are double and family rooms and a family suite available plus a cot for infants. Tea/coffee facilities and TV and hairdryers are in each room.
A generous continental breakfast (or full English breakfast with eggs courtesy of our 4 happy hens for a small extra charge) is provided in the galleried dining hall with its huge stone fireplace where dinner is available by arrangement.
"The Hay Loft":
A self-catering family apartment with its own entrance.This is situated on the 1st floor and is a huge vaulted room with a shower room and wc, a kitchen with twin hob,microwave/grill, sink ,fridge etc, a lounge, 2 bedrooms , one with double bed and the other with two singles.
This has a minimum stay of 3 nights and is 150 euros per night.
There is a heated swimming pool with large timber decked terrace for relaxing and enjoying dinner in the summer. Also a boules court, garden, childrens play area with swing and slide etc, games barn with table tennis and darts. Bicycles are available to hire from the manoir.
There are many varied interests and activities on the doorstep at Manoir de Lezuel. In the immediate area there are lovely walks via a lake through a nature reserve. A golf course with driving range and club house can be found nearby and clubs can be hired. For those interested in art classes can be arranged. Within a short drive are the medieval towns of Treguier, Pontrieux and Lannion. All have a host of exhibitions and attractions during the summer
Take a steam train ride along the beautiful river estuary from Paimpol to Pontrieux and enjoy Breton cider, crepes and music on the way. And of course there are the wonderful beaches and scenery just a short drive away. Here you will find fascinating rocky bays and large sandy beaches surrounded by a turquoise sea.
